Under the principle of goodwill (art. 330a CO), this formulation allows the employer to sound positive while signaling an unsatisfactory level of competence to HR professionals.

The employee should lodge a written objection to request replacing this phrase with a clear positive evaluation such as "erledigte die Aufgaben stets zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit".
