Due to art. 330a CO, employers use such generalized qualifiers to express poor performance without making outright defamatory statements.

The employee should lodge a written objection with the employer and request that this phrase be replaced with a standard positive evaluation such as "erledigte die Aufgaben stets zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit".
